I'm really excited to have heard from some of my fellow Church members via Facebook and e-mail. I've missed you guys these last few weeks, but God's been doing really great things with some of the Churches I've been serving with in Dallas mainly and the Union Gospel Center of Hope shelter in Dallas! I hope that God picks up the students spirits as summer is just starting! I'm really grateful to have such a wonderful body of believers waiting for me at a church home!
A few weeks ago Mark and I went through the book of Acts, and something that I notice about the disciples is the united they had in Christ. Even though they came from different backgrounds and they pursued separate interest the main thing that connected them was Christ, and I love how no matter how many disagreements I may find in my Church family I'm proud to say that Christ is the one that first united us, and is the one who will keep us united. (Proverbs27:17 "As iron sharpens iron, so a man shall sharpen another.") But it's up to us to remain faithful in Him and know that He's the only one who can mend relationships!
Hope that Christ is working through each and everyone of you at Trinity Baptist!
